I used expired chemicals to develop these photos. It gives them a dream-like quality. It worked but it was a happy mistake. I couldn't afford new chemicals all the time so I had to reuse. The expired chemicals left hazey out of focus & edges.
I developed the negatives year ago, examined a few small proofs but stored them away until earlier this year. I have a few in Toronto from the same era you may enjoy - see my portfolio.
I always felt a little uneasy down south, even though everyone around me treated me so well. I felt I was surrounded by good people protecting me from things to come.
These were good days, these were good times. I hope things turn around, I hope things recover as the high-tide is about to roll back.
